United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA)
At the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), Switzerland's mission supports international cooperation on the peaceful use of outer space for social and economic development, especially for the benefit of developing countries.
On behalf of Switzerland, it is particularly committed to the long-term sustainability of space activities and the promotion of a science-based, depoliticised approach to space policy. Other topics on the UNOOSA agenda include space debris, the application of nuclear energy sources in space, the international response to the threat of asteroid impacts, and the implementation of the legal framework in space.

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
The mission in Vienna represents Swiss interests and positions at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The UN organization fights (transnational) organized crime, human trafficking, the illicit trade in drugs and weapons and money laundering, as well as related corrupt practices and international terrorism.
At UNODC, Switzerland focuses in particular on combating corruption, promoting a health- and human rights-based drug policy, combating human trafficking and plays an active role in the development of a new convention against cybercrime.
Switzerland is a member of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the ad hoc committee for the development of an international convention against cybercrime. In this capacity, Ambassador Nägeli has been involved in a process to determine the implementation mechanism of the future convention.

United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
Switzerland's mission is actively involved in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the specialized agency of the United Nations for industrial development aimed at reducing poverty and promoting environmental sustainability. It is particularly committed to promoting green industrialization, quality production and value chains.
Switzerland is a founding member of UNIDO and has been one of its most important donors for years. It is also a member of the governing body of the organization and of the Industrial Development Council. Ambassador Nägeli holds the first vice-chairmanship of the Council.

United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)
As an active member of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the mission supports Swiss delegations at the regular meetings of the working groups. Switzerland's focus in this core legal body of the UN system in the field of international trade law is on obtaining inputs and insights for national law, as well as developing proposals for solutions regarding arbitration in connection with investment protection treaties.

International Narcotics Control Board (INCB)
The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) works to ensure the availability of narcotics and psychotropic substances for medical and scientific purposes, while preventing their misuse and diversion into illicit channels.
The Mission of Switzerland in Vienna works to promote Swiss interests, particularly in the area of classification of medicines, and supports greater cooperation via an online platform for trade in pharmaceuticals.

International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD)
ICMPD was established in 1993. The main activities of ICMPD projects revolve around capacity building of local authorities in migration management. The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) is an active member of the ICMPD Steering Group, which acts as a kind of supervisory board. Currently, ICMPD implements about 70 projects, some of them are supported by Switzerland.
