Swiss chairpersonship of the OSCE for 2026
Switzerland is chairing the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) for the 2026 term. This mandate is part of Switzerland's ongoing commitment to making an active contribution to peace, security and stability in Europe and beyond. Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis will serve as the chairperson-in-office of the OSCE during the 2026 term.
